Brunswick Corporation, a global leader in marine recreation with a portfolio of more than 60 industry-leading brands, has just unfurled its 2023 Sustainability Report that showcases its dedication to social and environmental responsibility while keeping our waters pristine and our communities thriving.

Let’s take a closer look at the highlights from the 2023 report:
Smooth Sailing on Emissions: Brunswick has reduced its carbon emissions, with a 6.3 percent improvement in Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions and an 8.2 percent improvement in Scope 3 emissions.
Navigating Toward Energy Efficiency: It has trimmed electricity usage at 56 percent of its facilities, with more than 20 facilities achieving double-digit reductions.
Keeping Crew Safe: The Total Recordable Injury Rate (TRIR) is 52 percent better than the national average, ensuring smooth sailing for its crew.
Zero Waste: Brunswick has reached zero waste to landfill status at a record number of locations, with a 90 percent reduction in solid waste at nine additional facilities, totaling 22 facilities.
Conserving the Deep Blue: Water consumption across key manufacturing facilities has been reduced by 14 percent, preserving our precious waterways.
Crew Camaraderie: Participation in employee resource groups has doubled, fostering a strong sense of community among more than 1,000 employees.
Supporting Crew’s Offspring: The Brunswick Foundation and Brunswick brands have donated close to $1 million to nonprofit organizations, granting 100 scholarships to children of employees and dealers.
In recognition of its efforts, Brunswick has been honored multiple times in 2023, earning accolades such as Newsweek’s America’s Greenest Companies and Most Trustworthy Companies in America, Forbes’ lists of America’s Best Employers for Veterans, World’s Best Employers, America’s Best Large Employers, and America’s Best Employers for Diversity. Brunswick has also been named by USA Today to its America’s Climate Leaders list.
