Williams Jet Tenders, the world’s leading jet tender manufacturer, has appointed Sarah Moore as its new dedicated Sustainability Specialist – a brand-new role for the brand which further underlines Williams’ commitment to its ESG agenda.
Moore’s new role will entail a variety of activities that build on the work already implemented within the organization to consolidate environmental sustainability efforts into Williams Jet Tenders’ core values and product development. Moore will be focused on establishing the Greenhouse House Gas (GHG) emissions baseline and delving deeper into the production processes to understand where innovative improvements can be made.
Commenting on the new appointment, Moore said: “I’m looking forward to supporting the team to create lasting change within their on-site environmental management and crucially in the production process to reduce carbon emissions across the business. As an internationally focused company, Williams Jet Tenders is well placed to make a big impact both locally and worldwide, so it’s an exciting time to be joining them as they continue on their sustainability journey.
“I’m passionate about sustainability and this will become evident across the team as we collectively develop projects that take us on our carbon reduction journey. I endeavor to behave in a sustainable way, demonstrating positive environmental behaviors to encourage others to think about their impacts on people and the planet and how to best mitigate those impacts through our daily lives.”
Moore’s career has seen her working in the charitable and public sector including environmental education, the research and management of green spaces, and in sustainable healthcare. Moore worked in-house for local authorities as well as externally for a national charity to raise awareness of the benefits of green spaces before joining the NHS to support sustainable management planning and staff engagement programs.
