Mercury Marine, a leader in recreational marine propulsion headquartered in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, has officially launched the Avator 75e and 110e electric outboards, which are now shipping to customers around the globe. These cutting-edge models expand Mercury’s impressive lineup of low-voltage electric propulsion systems, which also includes the 7.5e, 20e, and 35e.

Mercury is committed to leading the way in sustainable boating. Since its debut in 2023, the Avator series has made waves in the industry, earning several prestigious awards for its innovative design and technology. The Avator 20e and 35e recently snagged a 2024 CES Innovation Award.

John Buelow, president of Mercury Marine, expressed enthusiasm about these new offerings. “This is an exciting day for Mercury Marine as we deliver on our commitment to bringing five low-voltage electric outboards to market,” he said. “We look forward to all our customers around the world having the opportunity to power bigger sustainable adventures on the water.”

What sets the Avator 75e and 110e apart is their groundbreaking transverse flux motor technology. This innovative system provides instant torque and dependable, efficient power, making your boating experience smoother than ever. These models can be paired with the Avator 5400 Power Center, which allows seamless battery integration. Connect up to four rugged, weather-sealed Avator 5400Wh lithium-ion batteries, extending your range for those longer trips on the water.

Recharge times are manageable too. The portable 520W Avator charger can replenish two depleted 5400Wh batteries in about 20 hours, while the more powerful 1050W charger can cut this time by more than 50 percent, as long as you have the necessary AC-compliant inlet and breaker.

The Avator 75e and 110e also offer digital remote controls for boats with console steering, providing an easy and intuitive experience. For those who prefer a more hands-on approach, the 75e is available with a multi-function tiller handle. Plus, the standard power tilt system allows you to effortlessly raise or lower the outboard, optimizing performance whether you’re cruising through deep waters or navigating shallow areas.

With the Avator 75e and 110e, Mercury Marine is set to elevate your boating adventures while prioritizing sustainability.
